Wilfred “Bud” Carlin Scholarship Fund
Lead together, by standing with—by giving, serving, and growing alongside your community.
The Wilfred Carlin Scholarship honors the legacy of a beloved Istrouma High graduate, Korean War veteran, and lifelong steward of North Baton Rouge. For over six decades, “Bud” Carlin welcomed customers into Carlin’s Grocery and Market with kindness, compassion, and a heart for service—especially toward the elderly and underprivileged. This scholarship supports community-minded entrepreneurs in the Baton Rouge area who embody his selfless spirit and commitment to lifting others. It is a tribute to a man whose quiet generosity sustained generations and whose example continues to inspire.
Charlie D’Agostino Founders Scholarship:
Pave the way for young, aspiring entrepreneurs
Gifts can be directed to the Charlie D’Agostino Founders Scholarship which ensures all students have access to the Academy regardless of their financial situation. Charlie devoted his 50+ year career to empowering entrepreneurs by building the LSU Innovation Park and supporting the broader business community. He co-founded Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge in 2018 to further his mission of bringing entrepreneurship resources to everyone.
