Alumni Spotlight: Haden Vidrine
Meet Haden Vidrine(Class of 2022)
Founder & CEO, Wonder Clothing
When Haden Vidrine walked into his senior year of high school, he wasn’t sure what direction life would take after graduation. That changed the day he came across a flyer for YEA BR. Curious, he applied. That decision set him on a path he hadn’t imagined.
Through YEA BR, Vidrine began developing what would become Wonder Clothing, a company built around bold designs meant to catch eyes and spark conversation. But the journey didn’t start with a product. Like many young entrepreneurs, he entered the program without a clear business idea. Thanks to YEA BR’s mentors, he learned how to explore possibilities, shape concepts, and adopt the right mindset for launching something new.
“They taught us how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable,” Vidrine shared. For him, that lesson was foundational—an introduction not just to business skills, but to the resilience and adaptability required of every entrepreneur.
As the year progressed, Vidrine discovered both confidence and clarity. The program “hit the nail on the head” with its hands-on approach to teaching business fundamentals, from identifying opportunities to putting plans into motion. With mentors guiding him through each step, Wonder Clothing began taking shape. Today, those same mentors continue to support him as his business grows.
Vidrine is now a student at LSU, where he is building on what he learned in YEA BR by taking business classes and continuing to expand Wonder Clothing. The brand he created as a high school senior is thriving—driven by curiosity, hard work, and a willingness to step into the unknown.
His story is a reminder of the power of saying yes—yes to opportunity, yes to learning, and yes to imagining something bigger. Through YEA BR, Vidrine transformed uncertainty into entrepreneurship—and turned a simple flyer into the beginning of a career.
